Where We Work
Erie County is home ground, and the city of Erie is the county seat. From there our work runs west along the lake through Fairview and Girard, east through Wesleyville, Harborcreek, and North East, and south inland to Edinboro and Waterford. Millcreek Township wraps the west and southwest sides of the city and gets more of our calls than anywhere else.
Position relative to the lake changes the job. The townships on the shore take the full weight of the snow bands that come off the open water, so their driveways run through more melt and freeze cycles and lose their edges faster. The towns inland to the south see less snow, and exactly the same freeze and thaw mechanism, because that mechanism needs a thaw and a cold night rather than a record snowfall.
Lot size changes it too. Close to the city and in the boroughs the drives are short and narrow, sometimes too narrow for a full sized paver, and the apron at the street is usually the part that failed. Out toward Girard and Waterford the drives run long, they often start as gravel, and the ditch and the pipe at the entrance are part of the conversation.
Towns we serve:
County: Erie County, Pennsylvania, plus the surrounding northwest corner of the state.
Coverage runs across Erie County and the neighboring northwest Pennsylvania townships.
Sitting outside that ring? Call (814) 555-0131 anyway. A paver and a string of triaxles travel well for a job of a decent size, and we will tell you honestly when the drive puts a small job out of reach.
